CNA Provide direct care and support to patients with medical and psychiatric disorders, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, positioning, transfers and grooming. Monitor and document patients' behavior, mental status, and vital signs accurately and in a timely manner. Follow established facility and program specific policies and procedures to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Assist in the implementation and facilitation of individualized care plans, therapeutic activities, daily group programming and other interventions. Collaborate with nurses, psychiatrists, pediatricians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients. Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to maintain patient and staff safety at all times.
