Job Title: Forklift operator / Cherry picker
Job DescriptionAs a Production Operator, you will be responsible for loading raw material (fabric) into press machines, unloading finished products, removing excess material for recycling, performing quick visual quality checks, and assembling small components into fabric. Your role is crucial in ensuring that daily production standards are met efficiently and accurately.
ResponsibilitiesWe offer an 8-hour shift with extra days rather than longer days, which is not common in this area. Additionally, we provide double time pay for Sundays (Saturday night for 3rd shift), ensuring you are well-compensated for your hard work.
Work EnvironmentOur modern manufacturing facility is fully automated, minimizing heavy lifting. The environment is fast-paced and clean, though it can be hot in the summer. We have implemented numerous policies to ensure a safe working environment. While performing the duties of this job, you may occasionally be exposed to airborne particles, and the noise level can be moderate to high. Regular communication and interaction with team members are required.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of JEFFERSONVILLE, Indiana.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.25 - $19.00/hr.
