Responsibilities: The HRIS Director will oversee the strategic development, management, and optimization of all the company's HRIS processes and integrations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring that all HR systems and integrations support efficient business operations, data integrity, and compliance. The Director will manage a team of at least 2 HRIS professionals focused on applications management, automation, business analysis, and master data management. Reporting to the SVP of People and Culture, this position will play a key role in driving HRIS transformation initiatives and supporting the company's growth and innovation strategies.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee HRIS projects from initiation to completion, including system upgrades, new system implementations, and integrations with third-party applications.
- Partner closely with the team to ensure that systems and functionality align to business needs.
- Serve as a liaison between the HRIS team and other departments, ensuring alignment on HR system initiatives and projects.
- Regularly communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and other departments to ensure HRIS systems support broader business goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of two direct reports setting clear performance expectations and goals for the team.
- Maintain employee data with integrity to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Responsible for partnering with business users across Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Talent Management and supporting the build-out of metrics, trends, reports, and dashboards to enable business insights.
- Support the facilitation of ad hoc reporting and data requests by looking for opportunities for self-service and automation and working closely with other members of the team
- Conduct analyses to identify trends, determine the root cause of problems, and figure out solutions to manage them and drive effective business decisions.
- Design, develop and create complex dashboards, reports, presentations, and visual aids designed to educate, inform, and influence the decisions of business leaders.
- Configure, test and implement system upgrades, modules, and enhancements as it becomes available. Research and evaluate new system functionality.
- Provide outstanding service to employees by providing a high level of support and troubleshooting issues. Regularly conducts group and one-on-one training on systems.
- Ensures databases are maintained with accurate and up-to-date information through data entry, file transfers, and regular audits.
- Provide day-to-day application support for break / fix incidents and user issues for Ceridian Dayforce and other people systems.
Qualifications: - Minimum 8 years of experience in a HRIS related role, while working in a professional office environment dealing with confidential and sensitive matters and documents
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent)
- Experience with Dayforce preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and leading HRIS transformation initiatives.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both written and verbally, with all levels of employees, clients, as well as third-party vendors.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
