Learning Experience Designer Position Type: Admin/Professional Department: Executive Education Full or Part Time: Full Time Pay Grade: MN9 Summary: The Learning Experience Designer ( LXD ) will support NEOMED Executive Education by designing and developing engaging online and hybrid learning experiences. This role integrates instructional design principles with graphic design expertise to create high-quality curriculum content and visual assets. The LXD will collaborate closely with program directors and instructors, subject matter experts (SMEs), and stakeholders to develop and improve programs that align with NEOMED’s mission to transform education, healthcare, and community through executive-level programs related to quality improvement, clinical education, research, innovation, leadership, and patient care. Principal Functional Responsibilities: Instructional and Curriculum Design: Collaborate with the Executive Director and program directors to conceptualize, design, and develop online and hybrid learning experiences for executive and professional audiences. Utilize learner-centered design principles to create engaging and interactive digital learning modules that incorporate best practices in adult learning utilizing programs like Articulate 360, Canvas LMS , and Microsoft Office. Develop assessment tools and strategies to measure learner engagement and knowledge retention. Ensure all learning materials comply with Quality Matters design and accessibility standards. Maintain documentation of design project goals, timeline, and progress and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders. Graphic Design and Multimedia Development: Create visual assets, including infographics, animations, images, and videos, to support online course content and enhance learner engagement. Design branded materials for digital and print media, ensuring consistency with NEOMED’s branding guidelines. Produce multimedia elements for course content and marketing purposes, utilizing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite. Marketing and Social Media Support: Develop marketing collateral to promote Executive Education programs, including social media graphics, brochures, and email campaigns. Collaborate with the Executive Director and Business Manager to implement digital marketing strategies that enhance program visibility and enrollment. Maintain brand consistency across all learning materials and departmental communications. Technology Integration and Support: Research and implement emerging learning technologies to enhance the delivery of online and hybrid programs. Provide training and support to instructors on best practices in online course design and the effective use of digital tools. Troubleshoot technical issues related to course development and multimedia integration. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, or related field. Minimum three (3) years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or a related field. Knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design models, and accessibility best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, or related field. Experience in higher education or executive education environments, preferably within healthcare or medical education. Strong graphic design skills with experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro). Experience working with Learning Management Systems ( LMS ) such as Canvas or Blackboard. Physical Requirements: Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.
