Position Overview: A professional Learning Experience Designer to support the Early Career Program and other strategic initiatives across the client. In this role, will develop and design engaging learning experiences to enable professional development within insurance roles and functions, primarily for early career audiences. Will be joining an experienced Learning & Development team who values adaptability, collaboration, innovation, and accountability, in service to our stakeholders, and ultimately the customers. Responsibilities: Assess the needs and goals of the learners, in alignment with those of the organization. Systematically design content and activities in accordance with learning objectives and outcomes. Develop engaging and interactive instructional materials/experiences in a variety of formats (eLearning, ILT, VILT, blended, social, etc.) with proper accessibility and inclusion considerations, leveraging industry-standard authoring tools & trends to enhance the learner experience. Conduct research and collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevancy of instructional content. Facilitate interactive discussions with learners and conduct live/virtual sessions with subject matter experts as needed. Utilize learner feedback, metrics, and data analytics to measure the effectiveness and impact of learning experiences, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Required Qualifications: Professional experience in the insurance industry. Proven working experience in designing learning solutions that measurably improve performance. Deep knowledge of adult learning theory and principles of instructional/learning experience design. Demonstrated experience writing copy, instructional text, audio/video scripts, exercises, and assessments. Technical proficiency with design software, eLearning platforms, multimedia tools, etc. Creative and innovative mindset for developing engaging and interactive learning experiences. Agile and customer-centric approach, adapting and flexing as needs and priorities shift. Ability to influence without authority and build relationships with leaders at all levels. Strong communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills to collaborate with subject matter experts, analyze learning needs, and evaluate effectiveness of solutions. Skills: The ideal candidate will have a background in learning & development, an understanding of insurance operations, and experience working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to build formal, informal, and social learning offerings. Relevant degree/certification (Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, etc.) is a plus.
