Night Shift QA Specialist (7pm - 7am)

Salary: $25-$27.60 per hour

Location: Lenexa, KS

Eligibility: US Citizens or Green Card holders only

Primary Role Description

We are in search of a Night Shift QA Specialist dedicated to ensuring the highest quality standards of our products. The role involves working from 7 pm to 7 am in collaboration with our Quality Assurance team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Inspect and assess molded products in the Molding Department.
• Sample and test compounds within the Compounding Department.
• Accurately document and retain quality inspection reports.
• Identify non-conforming items and manage product investigations.
• Oversee the status of "hold" products through JDE Inventory.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Contribute to a teamwork-oriented environment.
• Ensure consistent attendance and fulfill other duties as specified.

Essential Qualifications:

• A high school diploma, GED, or relevant experience (1-3 months).
• Competency in basic math operations and calculating rates.
• Proficiency in comprehending instructions and effective communication.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and autonomous work practices.
• Forklift operation experience is an advantage.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving capabilities.

Physical and Work Environment Demands:

• Consistent standing and walking, frequent stooping and kneeling.
• Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds) and adjusting focus required.
• Exposure to varied weather conditions and operational noise.
• Mandatory use of safety gear: steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection.

Key Skills and Equipment Expertise:

• Experience in quality inspection and AS9100 standards.
• Background in manufacturing, with injection molding proficiency.
• Familiarity with injection molding machines and stamping presses.
