Gateway Group One Security Officers are responsible for meeting the day-to-day needs of customers and clients. Respond courteously and respectfully to resolve issues, while following policies and procedures set forth by the client and Gateway Group One. Individuals must be able to react professionally in stressful situations. Document situations as they occur and reach out to the appropriate person as needed. Greet visitors, vendors, and clients in a professional manner. Answer phones, monitor CCTV cameras, and alarm systems. Conduct tours of the inside and/or outside perimeters of the client site. Log in visitors, vendors, and contractors. Maintain a daily log of all activities. Perform escorts when required. Manage access control. Conduct bike patrols. Perform post inspections. Moderate to advanced computer skills. A valid SORA license is required. A valid driver’s license in good standing (no recent moving violations, suspensions, or accidents over the past 3-5 years). Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays. Customer service experience, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong oral and written communication skills. Flexible availability for morning, evening, and overnight shifts. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required. Full-time or part-time opportunities available. Security experience is a plus. High school diploma or GED required.
