Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. Provide application implementation services typically within the boundaries of specifications and project plans. Design activities include requirements analysis and design documentation. Implementation activities include implementation, testing, and integration. Maintenance activities include error analysis and removal. Extends, modifies or adapts existing designs but may also be involved in the development of new (sub-) systems. If acting as Scrum Master in the LEAN context, responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. Serve as 'servant-leader' for the Product Owner and the Development Team. Facilitate Scrum Events on request or as required. Coach the Development Team in self-organization. Remove impediments to the Development Team's progress. Collaborate with Product Management, User Experience and User Assistance to create documents and artifacts, contribute to System and Software design and write code using advanced programming tools. **Education and Occupational Experience:** Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and six years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering and four years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. **Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:** **Experience must involve 3 (three) years in the following:** + Java Enterprise Edition (EE) frameworks, including Hibernate and Spring; + Object-oriented programming, Java/J2EE, JSP, Servlets, RESTful web services, ODATA, and PL/SQL; + OOAD, UML, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns; + Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), HANA, Oracle, SQL, or MySQL; + Enterprise Search Platforms, including Apache Solr; + jQuery, Object Oriented JavaScript, AJAX, XML, HTML, and CSS; + Junit frameworks and Mockito; + Tomcat, Maven, Gradle, Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, Eclipse, or IntelliJ; and + Linux, Windows, JVM, web servers, and application servers. **Travel:** N/A This position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program subject to the eligibility criteria outlined in the SAP Internal Employee Referral Policy . SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $156,700-$266,300. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
